This week, Mary Holland, Children’s Health Defense (CHD) president, and Polly Tommey, CHD.TV programming manager, covered the latest headlines on COVID-19, Big Pharma and other issues, including news that in an interview with comedian and political commentator Russell Brand, journalist Matt Taibbi discussed the “Twitter files” and also spoke to the larger issues of mainstream media and censorship and the nature of propaganda versus truth.

Polly and Mary also discussed the “The Great Reset,” a new “social contract” that ties you to it through an electronic ID linked to your bank account and health records, and a “social credit” ID that will dictate every facet of your life.

Plus, Senator Elizabeth Warren and Senator-elect Peter Welch sent a scathing letter to Pfizer CEO Albert Bourla this week over the company’s plan to increase the price of its COVID-19 vaccines by 400% next year when it enters the commercial market.

Also on tap this week: Researchers at the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) found that pulmonary embolism — blood clotting in the lungs — met the initial threshold for a statistical signal in elderly individuals and continued meeting the criteria after a more in-depth evaluation.

More of this week’s highlights:

  • People who skipped their COVID-19 vaccine are at higher risk of traffic accidents, according to a new study. “To think that they actually spent money on this is absurd,” said Mary.
  • Anti-vaccine activism, which I actually call anti-science aggression, has now become a major killing force globally,” tweeted Peter Hotez, which was then retweeted by the World Health Organization.
  • Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis said he’ll petition the state’s Supreme Court to impanel a grand jury “to investigate any and all wrongdoings in Florida with respect to the COVID-19 vaccines” and “bring accountability” to anyone who committed “misconduct.” “This is fantastic news,” said Mary. “I hope that this example in Florida will be followed by other states.”
  • Pfizer and BioNTech received Fast Track Designation from the FDA for their mRNA-based combination vaccine candidate for influenza and COVID-19, which aims to help prevent two respiratory diseases with a single injection. “This is going to be a really dangerous vaccine,” said Polly.
  • A nasal spray vaccine that protects children against flu may also help protect against strep A infections, the UK Health Security Agency said. “This is usual fear-mongering,” said Mary.
  • A new study found that nearly 6% of the estimated 130 million people who go to U.S. emergency rooms every year are misdiagnosed, which translates to about 1 in 18 patients getting the wrong diagnosis. “This is based on government data,” said Mary. “We need to be so careful.”
  • Children’s Health Defense and Skyhorse Publishing released “‘Cause Unknown’: The Epidemic of Sudden Deaths in 2021 and 2022,” by former BlackRock managing director Edward Dowd. The book explores the rise in sudden fatalities among young, healthy people beginning in 2021. “This is a beautiful book,” said Mary.

  • The growing worldwide trend of euthanasia and/or assisted suicide, especially among children and young people, has critics asking troubling questions about the real motivation behind a spate of new laws. “This is so disturbing,” said Polly. “I had no idea about all of this.”
  • Data released by the FDA reveal an increase in the sales of medically important antibiotics for use in the production of chicken, beef and pork. An investigation by The Bureau of Investigative Journalism and The Guardian names retailers and restaurant chains sourcing beef containing harmful antibiotics. “This is a huge issue stemming from cruel and bad farming practices,” said Mary.
  • Despite industry and government claims to the contrary, gene-edited plants and animals can and do contain foreign genetic material in their genomes, either by intention or inadvertently due to the imprecision and limitations of the gene editing process.
  • The FDA has approved an “absurd” monoclonal antibody injection for adults and children 8 and older who have stage 2, Type 1 diabetes. The drug’s wholesale cost is $193,900 for a 14-day supply, and it comes with a risk of unknown side effects. “So bottom line is that it is incredibly expensive and can kill you,” said Polly.
  • Nearly 1 in 5 deaths are linked to lead toxicity. Lead is one of three toxins shown to have the greatest negative impact on the human lifespan and is linked to cardiovascular problems, reproductive problems, seizures, and more.
  • Cleanup and assessment efforts continued after the Keystone Pipeline spilled 600,000 gallons of crude tar sands oil into a northern Kansas creek that feeds a watershed providing drinking water for hundreds of thousands of people. “If there is a spill, you can’t fix it,” said Mary.
  • You can’t see, hear or smell electromagnetic fields, or EMFs, and most people don’t feel them — but they’re associated with systemic inflammation and mitochondrial dysfunction thought to be a root cause for many of today’s chronic diseases. “An important issue for us to look at,” said Mary.
