Mary has been involved in the vaccine choice and health freedom movement for more than two decades. “Once I learned about the extreme liability protection that industry and healthcare providers enjoy and the suppression of accurate science and information about vaccine risk and injury, I understood the need for immediate, radical systemic change. I’ve been devoted to that change ever since.”

Before joining CHD’s staff in fall 2019, Mary directed the Graduate Lawyering Program at the NYU School of Law for 15 years and lectured at the Columbia Law School on international human rights advocacy. She frequently testified in state legislatures around the country to retain or expand religious, medical and philosophical exemptions to vaccine mandates.

Mary has co-authored two books on vaccines, “Vaccine Epidemic” and “The HPV Vaccine on Trial: Seeking Justice for a Generation Betrayed.” She has written or co-written numerous articles about vaccine law and policy, particularly the seminal Unanswered Questions from the Vaccine Injury Compensation Program: A Review of Compensated Cases of Vaccine-Induced Brain Injury. She also coedited and wrote the foreword for the English edition of “Turtles All The Way Down: Vaccine Science and Myth.”

Brian S. Hooker, Ph.D., is the Senior Director of Science and Research at Children’s Health Defense, an organization committed to the best health for children in the U.S. and worldwide. He is also a Professor Emeritus of Biology at Simpson University in Redding, California, where he specialized in microbiology and biotechnology. Dr. Hooker coauthored, with Robert F. Kennedy Jr, the New York Times best-selling book Vax-Unvax: Let the Science Speak.

In 1985, Dr. Hooker earned his Bachelor of Science degree in chemical engineering from California State Polytechnic University, Pomona, California. He earned his Master of Science degree in 1988 and his doctorate in 1990, both in biochemical engineering, from Washington State University in Pullman, Washington.

Brian Hooker has many accomplishments to his credit, including co-inventor for five patents, recipient of the Battelle Entrepreneurial Award in 2001, and a Federal Laboratory Consortium Recognition Award in 1999 for his work on “Reactive Transport in 3-Dimensions.” The breadth of Hooker’s over 75 science and engineering papers have been published in internationally recognized, peer-reviewed journals.

Dr. Hooker has been active in vaccine safety since 2001 and has a 27-year-old son with autism. In 2013 and 2014, Dr. Hooker worked with the CDC Whistleblower, Dr. William Thompson, to expose fraud and corruption within vaccine safety research in the CDC, which led to the release of over 10,000 pages of documents.

As CHD’s General Counsel, Kim oversees all of CHD’s 50+ legal cases filed across the United States that focus on health freedom and vaccine issues, censorship, EMR and more. She has a B.A. in political science and a J.D. from Case Western Reserve University School of Law (J.D.), where she served as a Law Review editor.

Kim is a long-time vaccine safety/health freedom advocate, joining this movement as a result of her son’s vaccine injury, and has served in various leadership roles in health freedom/autism/vaccine safety non-profits. Kim has testified before legislatures to retain, restore or expand vaccine exemptions and speaks often on health freedom, autism and insurance-related issues. She has three book credits: Vaccine Epidemic: How Corporate Greed Biased Science and Coercive Government Threaten Our Human Rights Our Health and Our Children (co-editor/chapter author), The HPV Vaccine on Trial: Seeking Justice For A Generation Betrayed (co-author), and The Parent’s Autism Sourcebook (author).

At the helm of CHDTV’s programming, Polly vigorously advocates against censorship and corruption, striving to empower people with a platform to voice their experiences.

Polly is a devoted mother of three remarkable children, including Billy, who is vaccine injured. Recognized for her role as a producer in impactful documentaries like “Who Killed Alex Spourdalakis” and “VAXXED,” her executive influence also shines through in “VAXXED-II.”

Before coming to CHD, Polly was the Producer of “VAXXED,” Executive Producer of “VAXXED-II: The People’s Truth,” Director and Founder of The Autism Trust USA and UK and the visionary founder of Autism File magazine. Polly believes it is imperative to address the question: What will happen to the vaccine injured as adults when their parents are no longer around?

Miriam leads a CHD team of litigators and researchers focused on protecting children and the environment from the harms of wireless radiofrequency (RF) radiation. She is an international lawyer with a background in corporate accountability and international human rights law. Throughout her career, Miriam has worked for various human rights organizations in Europe and the U.S., where she focused on mechanisms to hold corporate actors accountable for egregious violations of human rights. After seven years of running pro bono research projects and international fellowships for the Public Interest Law Center at NYU School of Law, she joined CHD in 2021 to build and run its educational fellowship program and fight against wireless infrastructure's unchecked expansion. CHD’s EMR & Wireless Team pushes back against big telecom and special interests that harm our health, environment, and privacy autonomy through wireless technology.

Miriam’s speaking topics include: EMR and wireless education, litigation and advocacy.

Karl believes there is no science without integrity, which is why he joined Children’s Health Defense. He holds a master’s degree in computer science and a doctorate degree in biomedical and health informatics. Through his work, Karl helps CHD reveal population-based adverse outcomes of medical interventions. He designs and works with terabyte-sized databases (both biological and electronic medical record systems) and has published two book chapters and 13 peer-reviewed journal articles related to data mining and analysis for scientific investigation. His more recent peer-reviewed articles highlight the CDC/FDA participation in the COVID myocarditis disaster.

Karl’s speaking topics include: CHD’s peer-reviewed, published scientific literature, current scientific research projects and the regulatory failures that led to the COVID myocarditis disaster.

In her role, Stephanie is a fierce advocate and influencer in the health freedom movement. She educates, inspires and empowers people to advocate for their families and take meaningful action to preserve freedom. Stephanie is also a reporter and rotating host for Good Morning CHD, providing the latest advocacy news to our followers and supporters. Her efforts help to amplify the voices of those fighting for issues impacting the health and freedom of our children.
