New Challenge to ICNIRP Dissident Scientists Seek Tighter Health Limits
An international group of research scientists has come together to challenge ICNIRP, the International Commission on Non-Ionizing Radiation Protection.
The new panel wants a complete revision of ICNIRP’s guidelines for exposures to radiofrequency (RF) radiation. The researchers are demanding the adoption of more scientifically rigorous standards, which better protect public health and the environment.
The 5G Roll Out: EMF Radiation, Devastating Health Impacts, Social and Economic Implications. Crimes Against Humanity?
The roll out of the new C-Band 5G service by AT&T and Verizon scheduled for January 19, has raised alarms for major airline executives who have warned that it will create “catastrophic” interference with flight navigation systems and pilot safety during take off and landing. The risks will be greater during bad weather. Among the warnings are major disruptions in commerce and supply chain, the overriding of aircrafts’ electronic safety systems and radio altimeters, and the grounding of flights that will leave “tens of thousands of Americans grounded.”
List of Cell Phones Withdrawn or Updated for Deception and Endangering Users
To date, 35 different models of cell phones that are dangerous for the health of users have been either withdrawn from the French market or have had their Specific Absorption Rate (SAR) updated by software.
SAR exceeded for ONEPLUS 7 PRO mobile phone
The ONEPLUS 7 Pro smartphone has been pinned down in a SAR test carried out by the French National Frequency Agency (ANFR). As a reminder, the very limited budget of the French telecoms regulator only allows it to check the compliance of just over one in ten mobile phones sold in France each year. This situation has remained virtually unchanged since our alert was launched in July 2016.
RF Health Review, Paris in November
Two influential health agencies, both based in France, will host a meeting on RF–health research, on November 23 in Paris. The public is invited to attend in person or online. Registration is free.
The conference, organized by ANSES, the French Agency for Food, Environmental and Occupational Health & Safety, and IARC, the International Agency for Research on Cancer, will focus on potential effects of RF radiation on the brain and on cancer risks.
Wireless Technology Not Adequately Assessed for Hazards to Human Health and Environment
TUCSON, AZ – October 17, 2022 – The International Commission on the Biological Effects of Electromagnetic Fields (ICBE-EMF) is challenging the safety of current wireless exposure limits to radiofrequency radiation (RFR) and is calling for an independent evaluation. Published today in the journal Environmental Health, “Scientific evidence invalidates health assumptions underlying the FCC and ICNIRP exposure limit determinations for radiofrequency radiation: implications for 5G,” demonstrates how the U.S. Federal Communications Commission (FCC) and the International Commission on Nonionizing Radiation Protection (ICNIRP) have ignored hundreds of scientific studies documenting adverse health effects at exposures below the threshold dose claimed by these agencies, which was used to establish human exposure limits.
Microsoft Goggles Left Soldiers With Headaches and Nausea During Tests
U.S. soldiers using Microsoft Corp.’s new goggles in their latest field test suffered “mission-affecting physical impairments” including headaches, eyestrain and nausea, according to a summary of the exercise compiled by the Pentagon’s testing office. More than 80% of those who experienced discomfort had symptoms after less than three hours using the customized version of Microsoft’s HoloLens goggles, Nickolas Guertin, director of Operation Test and Evaluation, said in a summary for Army and Defense Department officials. He said the system also is still experiencing too many failures of essential functions. The problems found in the testing in May and June were outlined in a 79-page report this month. The Army marked it “Controlled Unclassified Information” to prevent public distribution, but Bloomberg News obtained a summary.

Lawsuit Goes to Court Alleging Cell Phones Cause Brain Tumors
Evidentiary hearings are underway in a Washington, D.C., courtroom this week, to decide if a massive lawsuit against the cellphone industry will be allowed to go to trial.
Multiple families are suing most of the major wireless companies and their trade association, asking for hundreds of millions in damages, claiming cellphone use causes brain tumors.
Monique Solomon Martinazzi, a plaintiff whose husband Andy passed away at age 43, said he had a brain tumor which developed right where he used to hold his cellphone.
The New Hampshire State House Subcommittee of the Science, Technology, and Energy Committee Has Voted for Further Policy Action Regarding the Issue of Radio-Frequency Radiation. (Wifi)

Phonegate Canada: Court Authorizes Class Action Against Apple and Samsung
In a judgment rendered on Sept. 22, 2022, the seven plaintiffs, Tracey Ariel, Claire O’Brien, Erika Patton, Zoe Patton, Alex Tasciyan, Mathew Nucciarone and Vito Decicco, have been given a win by Judge Christian Immer. They will therefore be allowed to launch a class action against the manufacturers of Apple and Samsung smartphones, in the context of the Phonegate scandal.
The action had been initiated in September 2019 by Attorney Charles O Brien, following the revelations in August 2019 of American journalist (and 2008 Pulitzer Prize winner) Sam Roe in the Chicago Tribune.
Expert Critique on the ‘Psychology Today’ Article ‘Tin Foil Hats: Tired Trole or Sign of the Times’
I am writing to provide comment on an article that was recently published in your magazine entitled “Tin Foil Hats: Tired Trope or Sign of the Times?” by Joe Pierre. I am providing my comments as a representative of a state commission that was tasked with exploring the health and environmental effects of wireless radiation, and not as a single individual.
Because the findings of that commission form the basis for my comments, I will provide a brief overview of the commission here. The commission I served on was convened through bipartisan legislation (House Bill 522, 2019) that was passed by both houses of the New Hampshire legislature and signed by the Governor. The intention of the legislation was to bring together unbiased experts in fields relating to non-ionizing electromagnetic radiation to address questions and concerns about the ever-growing number of radiofrequency radiation sources. Citizens and legislators were looking for answers as to why the telecommunications industry was claiming that wireless communications radiation posed no harm at all, while a clear majority of scientists identified significant harm from exposure.
Governor Asks FCC Chair to ‘Take Immediate Action as Directed by the Courts’ to Update Wireless Radiation Safety Regulations
The Federal Communications Commission (FCC) is supposed to protect Americans by regulating the telecom industry. It has failed to do so for decades and this has led to several lawsuits filed against the regulatory agency. In fact, last year, a federal court ruled in favor of organizations and petitioners that sued the FCC for NOT adequately protecting Americans from wireless radiation exposure from 5G and other sources of wireless. Additionally, in 2019, telecom executives gave congressional testimony that they had NO scientific evidence that 5G is safe.
Breaking: Victory Against 5G in Flower Hill
In a landmark legal decision in July of 2022, Judge Frederic Block, Senior United States District Judge for the Eastern District of New York, found that the Village of Flower Hill, NY, was justified in denying the application of ExteNet (acting as an agent for Verizon Wireless) to place 18 small cell antennas in the Village.
The Judge quoted from the 1996 Telecommunications Act, citing the provision that “nothing in this chapter shall limit or affect the authority of a State or local government or instrumentality thereof over decisions regarding the placement, construction, and modification of personal wireless service facilities.”
He noted that other courts have found the Act to be “in many important respects a model of ambiguity or indeed even self-contradiction.” Nevertheless, he reasoned, a plain reading of the text supports the claim by the Village that it has acted legally, establishing a strong written record and denying the applications based on legitimate principles.
Dramatic Results After School’s Mobile Phone Ban
There has been a dramatic decrease in behavioral issues, and a boost in physical activity among students at a Sydney High School after mobile phones were banned.
Every day students in years 7 to 10 at Davidson High School put their phone in a pouch that, once closed, cannot be opened without breaking the lock.
“Classrooms have effectively become phone free and this has allowed staff to focus on educating students,” principal David Rule said in a school newsletter. “In eight weeks of the policy there has been a 90% reduction in behavioral issues related to phones in the school.”
The 5G War — Technology v. Humanity
Exposure to electromagnetic field (EMF) and radiofrequency (RF) radiation is an ever-growing health risk in the modern world. The Cellular Phone Task Force website1 has a long list of governments and organizations that have issued warnings or banned wireless technologies of various kinds and under various circumstances, starting in 1993.
Another long list of organizations representing doctors and scientists are also among them, including an appeal for protection from nonionizing EMF exposure by more than 230 international EMF scientists to the United Nations in 2015, which notes that:2
“Numerous recent scientific publications have shown that EMF affects living organisms at levels well below most international and national guidelines.
Effects include increased cancer risk, cellular stress, increase in harmful free radicals, genetic damages, structural and functional changes of the reproductive system,3,4,5 learning and memory deficits, neurological disorders, and negative impacts on general well-being in humans. Damage goes well beyond the human race, as there is growing evidence of harmful effects to both plant and animal life.”

‘The Sky Is Falling! The Sky Is Falling!’ Cried Chicken Little. And the Sky Fell, and No One Listened and All Was Still.
A scholarly literature search for “electromagnetic” + “biological effects” produces the astonishing number of 76,400 studies, more studies than for most other environmental threats, yet the world continues on, looking yet blind, listening yet deaf, mistaking silence for comfort, the advancing flames for a bright future.
On the Dutch island of Texel, being the south end of a line of islands separating the Wadden Sea from the North Sea, a large breeding colony of seabirds called Sandwich terns (“great terns” in Dutch) made headline news last month by dying. Of the 7,000 birds nesting in the De Petten nature reserve until the end of May, none were left by the middle of June. 3,000 avian corpses were collected and the rest either died or abandoned their nests.

59-Year-Old Social Worker Wins ‘Early Ill Health Retirement’ for Disabling ‘Electromagnetic Hypersensitivity’:
“I have worked in health and social care for 35 years, supporting some of the most disabled and vulnerable members of our society and advocating to ensure their rights have been upheld. To have been on the receiving end of societal prejudice, discrimination, ignorance and misunderstanding, has been devastating,” says the 59-year-old social worker, Sally Burns.
Mrs. Burns is sensitive to non-ionizing radiation (NIR) such as Wi-Fi and mobile phone emissions. She experiences dizziness, headaches, palpitations, sleep disturbance, vibrating sensations and sensitivity to noise and light. She feels pain in body areas which are most proximal to the radiation sources, such as heat and pain at the ear from mobile phone use and abdominal pain from computer use. Her reaction is severe enough to have caused her to have to avoid using mobile phones and computers and even to try to avoid public exposures such as phone masts and pubic Wi-Fi/phone emissions. You can imagine how disabling that is within a society that has become so dependent upon use of these technologies in all areas of public life. She is disabled by electromagnetic hypersensitivity (EHS).
Cell Tower Turned Off by Court After Farmer Complained That Its Radiation was Damaging His Cows’ Health
Decades of research has determined that exposure to radiation from cell towers and other wireless radiation emitting sources is biologically and environmentally harmful. In fact, there are some government agencies that actually warn residents about exposure risks.
Opposition to cell towers being installed near homes and schools has been worldwide for years. In France, one farmer’s complaint about how a new cell tower seemed to be affecting his cows led to it being turned off for two months. The mayor who originally authorized the tower’s installation testified in favor of the farmer.

On May 16, Children’s Health Defense and 50 other nonprofits, safe technology and disability advocacy groups filed legal comments with the Federal Communications Commission in response to the FCC’s request for comment on how to “prevent and eliminate digital discrimination.” The proceeding was required by the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act and President Biden’s Executive Order 13985. The cosigners include Frank Clegg, former president of Microsoft Canada and founder of Canadians for Safe Technology and Dr. Kent Chamberlin, of New Hampshire’s pioneering 5G Commission.
Cease and Desist Order Against Verizon Cell Tower by Board of Health Pittsfield MA
On April 6, 2022, the Pittsfield, Massachusetts Board of Health voted to send a cease and desist order to shut down a Verizon cell tower if Verizon does not respond with meaningful action regarding a cell tower . The Board took action after families living in the neighborhood of Shacktown near the tower on 877 South Street Pittsfield MA reported wireless radiation-related health issues soon after the tower became operational in 2020.
CHD Disappointed by D.C. Circuit Panel OTARD Decision
Washington, D.C., Feb. 15, 2022 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — On Friday, Feb. 11 a panel of the Court of Appeals for the D.C. Circuit denied a petition for review submitted by Children’s Health Defense and four families that challenged a 2020 FCC rule, Over the Air Reception Devices (OTARD). OTARD allows private wireless Internet providers to contract with a property owner and install antennas that provide Internet access to the local area without any notice or right to object by people opposed to the project. OTARD also preempts local zoning laws, deed and other property restrictions on wireless deployment. The FCC rule strips all remedies granted by any state law that “restricts” deployment of private carrier Internet facilities.
