This week, Mary Holland, Children’s Health Defense (CHD) president, and Polly Tommey, CHD.TV programming manager, covered the latest headlines on COVID-19, Big Pharma and other issues, including news that as the World Economic Forum wrapped up its weeklong annual meeting of nearly 3,000 political, business, media and academic elites, The Defender identified eight key takeaways based on news reports and comments by participants and attendees.

Polly and Mary also discussed that at the meeting, former prime minister Tony Blair has called for digital libraries that can record the vaccination status of people around the world in future pandemics.

Plus, The Wall Street Journal Sunday took vaccine makers and federal agencies to task for pushing the bivalent COVID-19 boosters without having any data to demonstrate that they are either safe or effective. On Monday, the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) said it is eyeing changes to the booster program.

Also on tap this week: Moderna and BioNTech acknowledged early on that their COVID-19 shots were gene therapy, but now, with help from media giants like The Associated Press, they’re going to great lengths to get you to believe otherwise.

More of this week’s highlights:

  • COVID-19 is a means to an end; to suspend and strip us of Constitutional rights and civil liberties, and to further social, political and financial restructuring objectives outside democratic processes. “COVID is a propaganda masterpiece,” said Mary.
  • More than 1,600 children ages 5 to 11 experienced a systemic reaction such as fever or diarrhea after receiving one of the new COVID-19 vaccines, according to a study from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).
  • In a Jan. 9 update on the company’s “industry-leading mRNA pipeline,” Moderna told investors it is developing multiple new mRNA products — including a treatment designed to be injected directly into the hearts of patients who have sustained heart attacks or heart failure. “So they create the problem so they can try to fix it,” said Polly.
  • Moderna raked in significant earnings in 2022, based on $18.4 billion in sales of its mRNA COVID-19 vaccine — the company’s one and only product on the market. “This scam is so obvious,” said Mary.
  • Unvaccinated COVID-19 patients are at greater risk of death and cardiovascular disease for at least 18 months after infection, new research suggests. The research took place in 2020, and only takes into account people who were not vaccinated at the time they were infected with COVID-19.
  • A host of celebrities faced scrutiny on social media after promoting Pfizer‘s COVID-19 vaccine in paid partnerships on their respective Instagram accounts. “Some of those celebrities are now getting injured,” said Mary.
  • The issue of children dying unexpectedly and without any known cause has been debated in Parliament for the first time. “It is fantastic that they are even looking at this,” said Polly.
  • A set of international codes are used by the medical industry for billing purposes under Medicare-Medicaid and private insurance companies, but it’s not just about billing, it’s about your COVID-19 vaccine status. The new code was implemented in October 2022, and became available in January. “This is the gateway to transhumanism,” said Mary.
  • New York Senate Bill S1945 would mandate the influenza vaccine for children attending licensed daycare in the state. “This already exists in New York City,” said Mary. “They like to get them young.”
  • Approximately 1,200 students from the London, Ontario, area in Canada were suspended from school until their “regular” vaccinations are up to date. “Infectious disease seems to be their best weapon,” said Mary.
  • Several new government- and industry-funded studies are underway to develop mRNA vaccines for livestock, but “we need to be sure that no abnormal cellular or molecular changes to the animal could be induced by this type of vaccine,” one scientist told The Defender. “This affects the human food chain,” said Mary.
  • The FDA has approved another Tdap vaccine for use during pregnancy to prevent pertussis, otherwise known as whooping cough. “This is greed on steroids,” said Mary.
  • Stopping measles must include immunization efforts here and around the globe, according to an opinion piece by the executive director of Shot@Life, a campaign for the United Nations Foundation.
  • Four new studies shed light on human exposure to electromagnetic radiation from wireless technologies, but the authors of one study alleged industry tried to censor their research, and in another case, critics accused researchers of having conflicts of interest with the telecom industry.
  • This first installment in a three-part series about the human papillomavirus, or HPV, vaccine explores peer-reviewed scientific literature that reveals serious safety concerns about a vaccine widely regarded as safe. Researchers who looked closely into the Gardasil HPV vaccine concluded the risks from the vaccine seem to significantly outweigh the as-yet-unproven long-term benefits. A groundbreaking book, “The HPV Vaccine on Trial: Seeking Justice for a Generation Betrayed,” looks into the science, studies and safety behind it. “This is very useful information,” said Mary. “It makes it very clear that there are absolutely huge risks.”
  • A lawsuit challenging Rutgers University’s COVID-19 vaccine mandate policy is likely headed to the U.S. Supreme Court, the attorney representing CHD and 13 Rutgers students told The Defender. “This case has implications for every college student in the country,” said Mary.
  • ChatGPT, a new AI chatbot, is getting a lot smarter when it comes to healthcare. Why it matters: A lot of clinical diagnoses and decisions could someday be made by machines, rather than by human doctors. “It is extraordinary,” said Mary. “The way of the future.”
  • Beetleburgers could soon be helping to feed the world, according to new research. “This is absolutely disgusting,” said Polly.
