CHD’s Stop 5G and Wireless Harms Project: Monthly Summary, July 2020

CHD v. FCC – Litigation Update

CHD v FCC – Principal Brief Filed
Finally, after much blood, sweat and tears, on July 29 we filed the “Principal Brief” in our case. This is the main brief in the case. The FCC’s response is due on Sept. 14 and then we can respond to their response by Oct. 6.

CHD v FCC – PRESS CONFERENCE: CHD Holds Press Conference on Evidentiary Brief Submission in CHD V. FCC Lawsuit

On July 30, we held a Press Conference for the filing of the ‘Principal Brief.’ Our four main panelists were RFK Jr., Dr. David Carpenter (who is also a Petitioner), Scott McCollough, our attorney, and Dafna Tachover. We also had short presentations from two additional petitioners – Dr. Toril Jelter, a pediatrician who sees the sickness from wireless in her clinic, and Virginia Farver, whose son died from a cell phone brain tumor. Ysobel Gallo, who submitted an affidavit in support of CHD, spoke as well. She is a 19 y/o who developed Radiation Sickness from the Wi-Fi in school when she was 16. We have received very positive responses to the PC. It is a great video to send around to inform others about the case, the evidence of harm and understand the extent of damage and tragedies the FCC’s failure and this radiation are causing. We worked with Stefanie Spear on the PR. We sent a media advisory statement before the filing and a Press Release immediately after the filing and before the Press Conference.

CHD v FCC – Articles published: Law360, a leading legal news media followed with an article. FCC Ignoring Evidence Of Wireless Tech Harms, DC Circ. Told (So far, we know about two additional articles about the submission.)

CHD’s Campaigns & Activities

Campaign to encourage municipalities to say no to 5G Easton CT is Saying NO THANKS to 5G, and We Can Too! It is a campaign calling municipalities to follow Easton CT and adopt a “Cease and Desist” Resolution to “encourage” Telecom not to deploy 5G in their communities. Moms Across America and Americans for Responsible Technology are co-leading this campaign. The campaign is utilizing CHD’s click to action system. Since this effort started at least one municipality followed: The Big Island of Hawaii.

Film Project: (1) Documentary (2) Video
A couple of months ago we started working with a film director on a short 1-3 minute video on 5G and wireless harms, especially to children. After starting shooting, the director got intrigued and decided she would like to produce a full documentary. So now we are working on (1) a documentary (2) a short video for CHD.

Director/Producer Chiara Tilesi is a Social Impact director and Producer and the founder of We Do It Together. She is volunteering her time. Isabel Lucas, an Australian Actress who has been outspoken about 5G, will also be participating.

This month we have been shooting in various locations in California. The film will be Chiara’s production and in her name (we will be given credits and will be interviewed). The 1-3 minute video will be for CHD. We plan to finish shooting in about 2-3 weeks. The proceeds from the movie will be donated to CHD.
