There’s a global “unelected unaccountable billionaire class” that wants to control every facet of our lives, according to Seamus Bruner. And the plans these “controligarchs” have for humanity are “horrifying.”
Bruner, author of “Controligarchs: Exposing the Billionaire Class, their Secret Deals, and the Globalist Plot to Dominate Your Life,” and director of research at the Government Accountability Institute, was the featured guest on today’s episode of “The Defender In-Depth” podcast.
He explained how his work alongside renowned investigator Peter Schweizer, author of “Red-Handed: How American Elites Get Rich Helping China Win,” led him to investigate the activities of powerful individuals who disguise their true intentions by portraying themselves as philanthropists.
“We follow the money … that’s our motto,” Bruner said. “Getting to the end of these investigations, you really wonder how on earth is all of this corruption allowed to go on.”
Bruner said agencies like the FBI are “just not doing their job. They’re looking the other way. They’re letting the big fish skate away free. No big fish ever seem to fry.”
But the COVID-19 pandemic, which Bruner identified as “a wake-up call,” has pulled back the curtain, and exposed that “there seems to be a level above the politicians.”
“There’s this unelected unaccountable billionaire class who is steering our both domestic and foreign policy,” Bruner said. “We all know they got a lot richer while we and our businesses were locked down and we had to wear the masks and our children’s education suffered. They were raking in money hand over fist.”
Constructing ‘new systems for tyrannical control’
According to Bruner, the controligarchs are trying to control everything — “from your speech, to your health, to your food, to your energy, to the information that you’re allowed to consume.”
“What really blew me away was what they’re doing with their money and how they’re constructing new systems for tyrannical control,” Bruner added.
“The number one goal of these controligarchs is to transfer power away from people, away from you, away from countries like the United States and Western countries, and transfer that power to centralized supranational organizations like the World Health Organization [WHO], the World Economic Forum [WEF] and the U.N.,” he said.
Bill Gates “is at the top” of the controligarchs heap, “probably the most involved in every facet, from the energy to the health to the food,” Bruner said.
Other members of the controligarch class, according to Bruner, include the Open Society Foundation’s George and Alexander Soros, Amazon Executive Chairman Jeff Bezos, Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg and WEF founder Klaus Schwab.
‘Horrifying’ plans for humanity
Bruner called the controligarchs’ plans for humanity “horrifying.”
“We’re talking about the abolition of private property. We’re talking about the overthrow of our economic system. We’re talking about, yes, ‘eating the bugs.’ We’re talking about, really, the Fourth Industrial Revolution.”
Referencing a 2016 WEF video, Bruner said, “You’re going to own nothing [and] you’ll be happy. But we’re starting to see that the people who own nothing aren’t very happy.”
Bruner said that the controligarch class traces its roots to the early 20th century when John D. Rockefeller was able to “rebrand” himself from “oil baron” to “philanthropist.”
“It starts, really, with the Rockefeller family, who is now … personified by the Rockefeller Foundation,” Bruner said. “There’s so many offspring, I mean over 250 [organizations that are] kind of scattered, and the foundation has become … a model for Bill Gates.”
Regarding Gates, Bruner said, “When the Justice Department had labeled him this ruthless capitalist software mogul, [he then established] the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation … Overnight, he becomes this great philanthropist who’s saving the planet.”
Bruner added:
“There’s a reputational benefit in terms of being known as a philanthropist rather than a cutthroat monopolist who will do anything to get ahead … for every dollar that these guys give away, they typically receive about $2 back, like it’s magic.
“When you have a foundation that claims to be ‘saving’ the planet, [you] develop a God complex.”
Controligarchs are good at turning a crisis into an opportunity, Bruner said. “The pandemic was the ultimate crisis and the ultimate opportunity.” The controligarchs have the solutions to all their diseases, “which can be quite profitable.”
One of the tactics controligarchs use is to claim that crises, like the pandemic, “are too big … for any one nation to solve. … Therefore, every country needs to transfer its power and its national sovereignty to an unelected, unaccountable, globalist elite like the United Nations so that the controligarchs can fix all your problems for you.”
In the name of solving crises, controligarchs benefit by attaining monopoly power in key industries, such as patented, genetically modified seeds for crops.
“What it is all about is the intellectual property and controlling the intellectual property,” he said. “Once you have that monopoly, you can’t have any competition in that area … It’s really about controlling the new technology, because then they will have a monopoly over all of the aspects of our lives.”
Coupled with promoting digital ID and “biometric surveillance,” Bruner said “total control over every man, woman and child on the planet is where they’re headed with this,” adding that “the digitalization of everything is part of the Great Reset.”
“We’ve got some time, but not much,” Bruner warned, but said he has “a lot of hope for the future. “People are waking up. Once people wake up [they] can’t be put back to sleep.”
