This week, Mary Holland, Children’s Health Defense president, and Polly Tommey, CHD.TV programming manager, covered the latest headlines on COVID-19, Big Pharma and other issues, including news that Dr. Anthony Fauci said people are considered unvaccinated and unprotected unless they’ve had their fourth dose of the COVID-19 vaccine.
Polly and Mary also discussed that nearly 30,000 deaths were reported to the Vaccine Adverse Event Reporting System or VAERS, including a 17-year-old boy who died of myocarditis five months after his COVID-19 vaccine.
Plus, in exclusive interviews with The Defender, three people injured by COVID-19 vaccines describe physical injuries, emotional damage and finding comfort and encouragement in support groups.

- South Africa’s health regulator confirmed a person died — of Guillain-Barré syndrome — as a direct result of receiving Johnson & Johnson’s COVID-19 vaccine.
- The European Medicines Agency recommended Novavax‘s COVID-19 vaccine carry a warning of the possibility of two types of heart inflammation. “They all carry this risk of myocarditis,” said Mary.
- The topic of vaccines has always been controversial, but it reached a fever pitch during the COVID-19 pandemic when it became sacrilegious to speak out against vaccines or even question their safety and efficacy. “This is not science. This is all political,” said Mary.
- Twitter censored Shmuel Shapira, M.D., MPH, for suggesting a connection between the monkeypox outbreak and mRNA COVID-19 vaccines.
- Robert F. Kennedy Jr.’s latest book, “A Letter to Liberals — Censorship and COVID: An Attack on Science and American Ideals,” is available now to download free, or buy from Amazon and other retailers. “I love this book,” said Mary.
- New lineages of the Omicron COVID-19 variant are helping spark a wave of reinfections, as people who previously caught COVID-19 contract it again.
- According to state health officials, polio was found in wastewater samples taken from two counties outside of New York City, indicating the virus is spreading in the community.
- The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services declared monkeypox a public health emergency. The U.S. Food and Drug Administration said it would offer monkeypox vaccines to children on a “case-by-case” basis, despite no clinical trials for kids under 18.
- Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis said the state is “not doing fear” regarding the monkeypox outbreak. “This is interesting,” said Polly.
- Vaccine manufacturers set their sights on nasal vaccines at least two decades ago, but product development has remained sluggish as scientists acknowledge that only a “thin partition” separates the nasal cavity from the brain. “We are going to see more of this for sure,” said Mary.
- Vaxess Technologies launched a Phase 1 trial for its H1 influenza vaccine patch.
- South Korea developed a health monitoring nanotech tattoo.
- As U.S. regulators restrict antibiotic use, industrial meat producers turn to vaccines, hormones and other problematic drugs to promote growth and prevent disease in unsanitary, overcrowded factory farms. “It’s getting bad,” said Mary. “Protecting our food supply is critical.”
- The Friedman School of Nutrition Science and Policy’s Food Compass, unveiled in late 2021, is another Great Reset tool designed to discourage the consumption of animal foods by falsely rating them as unhealthy and encouraging consumption of ultra-processed foods by giving them high nutritional ratings.
- A U.K. study found a reduced risk of cervical cancer recurring after HPV vaccination post-surgery, though further research is needed. A U.S. judicial panel consolidated more than 31 lawsuits against Merck for injuries allegedly caused by the Gardasil HPV vaccine. “This is fantastic news,” said Mary.
- More than 130 U.S. Coast Guard members filed a class action lawsuit alleging the religious exemptions they filed in response to the Biden administration’s COVID-19 vaccine mandate for military service members were unlawfully denied. “This is very hopeful,” said Mary.
- Recently elected Costa Rica President, Rodrigo Robles, rescinded the vaccine mandate, making it illegal to force anyone to get the COVID-19 vaccine. “Exciting stuff,” said Polly.
- A child who contracted the highly infectious Ebola-like Marburg virus in Ghana has died.
- Grocery stores in Finland could have to take turns closing for hours at a time to reduce their energy usage this winter. “It is going to be tough in Europe this Winter,” said Mary.
