This week, Mary Holland, Children’s Health Defense (CHD) president, and Polly Tommey, CHD.TV programming manager, covered the latest headlines on COVID-19, Big Pharma and other issues, including news that the World Health Organization (WHO) has extended the global COVID-19 public health emergency while acknowledging the pandemic is “probably at a transition point” — but some countries indicated they’re ready to return to normal.

Polly and Mary also discussed that Africa, where less than 6% of the population is vaccinated against COVID-19, has fared far better than countries with high injection rates. Still, the WHO continues to warn that developing nations are at grave risk due to low vaccination rates.

Plus, International Classification of Disease codes are used extensively in medical records, medical insurance data and health research to classify precise disease states and injuries from exogenous agents. COVID-19 vaccination status is not a disease or injury, yet the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention rationalized creating codes for it.

Also on tap this week: Project Veritas released a video of a Pfizer executive admitting Pfizer is internally discussing a way to “mutate” the COVID-19 virus via “directed evolution” in an effort to “preemptively develop new vaccines.”

More of this week’s highlights:

  • The publisher of some of the world’s most prestigious scientific journals is investigating a study that claimed COVID-19 vaccines have killed up to 280,000 people across the U.S. “Even if they intend to discredit us, this article educates massive amounts of people,” said Polly.
  • In an op-ed published in Newsweek, Kevin Bass, M.S., an M.D./Ph.D. student, blasted the elitism of the scientific community and called on it to take responsibility for the deadly consequences of misleading the public about COVID-19. “This is very interesting,” said Mary. “People are coming around.”
  • The U.K. said it will no longer recommend COVID-19 boosters for healthy people under 50 and will discontinue free distribution of the primary two-shot series. “We are seeing a global pivot on this for sure,” said Mary.
  • Advisers to the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) voted to replace the original Pfizer and Moderna primary series mRNA COVID-19 vaccines with bivalent boosters designed to target Omicron variants, despite concerns about insufficient clinical trial data to support safety and efficacy. “It is outrageous that these are never tested on humans,” said Mary.
  • One year after he was deported for refusing the COVID-19 vaccine — precluding him from playing in the 2022 Australian Open — tennis star Novak Djokovic made history when he returned to Australia to win his 10th Australian Open and 22nd Grand Slam title. “I do not see how they can keep the border closed like this,” said Polly.
  • A recent update to the Federal Aviation Administration’s electrocardiogram test limits for pilots has some aviation and medical experts questioning if the FAA is concerned that COVID-19 vaccine injuries may be contributing to an ongoing shortage of pilots. “These pilots could essentially have a cardiac event in the air based on this new guide,” said Mary.
  • Bill Gates, long recognized as one of the world’s foremost proponents of vaccines, raised some eyebrows at a recent talk in Australia when he admitted there are “problems” with current COVID-19 vaccines.
  • As the world struggles to come to terms with the devastating effects of the COVID-19 pandemic, one question that continues to surface is why the unvaccinated “didn’t do more to warn us” about the potential dangers of being injected. “This is very dark,” said Mary.
  • A federal judge in California granted CHD-California Chapter’s request for a preliminary injunction to block a California law that would have allowed the state’s medical boards to punish doctors for spreading “COVID-19 misinformation.”
  • CHD filed a federal lawsuit against the FDA to obtain documents related to the agency’s safety monitoring of COVID-19 vaccines through the Vaccine Adverse Event Reporting System, or VAERS, database.
  • Research has found a strong link between aluminum exposure and Alzheimer’s disease. Patients with a genetic mutation that predisposes them to early onset of Alzheimer’s and more aggressive disease have universally high aluminum content in their brains. “Aluminum is a huge issue,” said Mary. “It induces autoimmune conditions.”
  • Scientists are warning the public that consuming eggs could cause blood clots, strokes and heart attacks. “This is very silly,” said Polly.
  • Journalist James Corbett identifies the cast of characters driving the “Great Food Reset,” a plan to reengineer the global food supply under the guise of a fake food crisis.
  • The EU has approved cricket and insect powder for use in a variety of baked goods and other food staples in grocery stores. “This is foreshadowing food shortages,” said Mary.
  • Holocaust survivor Vera Sharav premiered “Never Again Is Now Global” on CHD.TV Watch here. “There are many things in this docuseries that I did not know before watching this,” said Mary. “We need to understand this.”
