“It’s time to do what a growing list of countries have done and announce that we’re going back to something more like normal,” Bill Maher said on the latest episode of HBO’s “Real Time with Bill Maher.”

Maher said COVID precautions have fallen unfairly on those with the lowest risk.

“What we’re doing to kids is unnecessary and horrible. And I don’t even like kids,” Maher joked.

“We’re making kids, who have a COVID survivability rate of 99.98% mask up like bandits. Unfortunately the thing that’s getting stolen is their education, their sanity and their social skills,” Maher said.

Maher pointed to a recent Johns Hopkins study which said lockdowns “have had little-to-no public health effects” and “have imposed enormous economic and social costs where they have been adopted.”

The report concluded lockdowns are “ill-founded and should be rejected as a pandemic policy instrument.”

“That’s kind of a big one to get wrong,” Maher said.

In July 2021, President Biden told the American people “you’re not going to get COVID” if you’re vaccinated.

“I knew he was wrong then and now we all do,” said Maher.

For months it was taboo and even banned on social media to discuss the possibility that COVID originated in a lab. “Now our intelligence agencies agree that it might have,” Maher said.

“Look I’m not saying the medical establishment isn’t trying to figure sh*t out, or that they’re corrupt,” Maher said. “How about just wrong? Wrong a lot.”

Maher went on to discuss other times the medical industrial complex was wrong by highlighting the hundreds of prescription drugs that were originally declared safe only to be recalled and outlawed.

“How wrong do you get to be? While still holding the default setting for representing science?” Maher asked.
