James Neuenschwander, M.D.

James Neuenschwander, M.D. (aka Dr. Neu) is a physician dually board certified in Emergency and Integrative Medicine with over 35 years of experience. He began his integrative practice in Ann Arbor in 1988 and has specialized in the care of the chronically ill using all the tools available. He has built that practice into a center known to patients as the place to go when no one else can help them. Since 2007, he has incorporated integrative pediatrics into his practice treating kids with neurodevelopment disorders, including autism. He has been a member of the Medical Academy of Pediatric Special Needs (MAPS) since its founding. He is now the president of this organization with a mission to bring integrative pediatric care to the masses and change the trajectory of pediatric health in this country. He is a sought-after speaker on the topics of biomedical autism treatments, the gut/brain/immune connection, and the latest integrative treatments.
