For Immediate Release

Washington, DC – Discovery documents released Thursday reveal the Biden administration and its federal agencies were holding secret meetings with Big Tech to censor COVID-19 statements they deemed misinformation.

Robert F. Kennedy Jr., #2 on the “Disinformation Dozen” list, and Children’s Health Defense (CHD), are publically characterized with other individuals and organizations as spreading misinformation and have been subsequently censored, shadow banned and permanently deplatformed from social media outlets. These actions have denied CHD and RFK Jr. the ability to provide over a million followers access to their information.

In response, Robert F. Kennedy Jr. said:

“I’m astonished that any elected Democrat would be so estranged from our nation’s history and values as to consider it acceptable for a president to pressure publishers to censor his critics.

“It’s shocking that a U.S. president would involve the FBI and Homeland Security in efforts to quash dissent. Has no one in the White House read Thomas Paine or Orwell or Huxley or Heinlein or Arthur Koestler or Hannah Arendt or Solzhenitsyn? What do they think the lessons were that we were supposed to have learned from Watergate? From McCarthyism? From Vietnam?

“The Framers placed the right of free expression in the First Amendment precisely to guarantee Americans our sacred right to criticize our government. The First Amendment is not there to safeguard popular speech or government-approved speech. The Framers specifically wanted to protect speech that the government finds inconvenient or even detestable. And they included no pandemic exception in the Constitution!”

Robert F. Kennedy Jr. was deplatformed by Instagram and Children’s Health Defense (CHD) was removed from Facebook, Instagram, YouTube and TikTok for posting content that the platforms claim doesn’t follow their “Community Guidelines/Standards on Misinformation.”

Children’s Health Defense is in an ongoing censorship lawsuit with Meta filed Aug. 2020.
