This week, Mary Holland, Children’s Health Defense (CHD) president, and Polly Tommey, CHD.TV programming manager, covered the latest headlines on COVID-19, Big Pharma and other issues, including news that the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) pressured U.S. regulators to clear COVID-19 boosters without clinical trial data, according to emails obtained by Judicial Watch.

Polly and Mary also discussed that President Biden urged “all Americans” to get an updated COVID-19 vaccine and pleaded with Congress to continue funding the vaccines and COVID-19 treatments.

Plus, Biden warned the American people that nearly every COVID-19-related death this year will be because people have not received the updated vaccine.

More of this week’s highlights:

  • After advertising the benefit of breakthrough infections, mainstream media is now putting a positive spin on systemic side effects by reframing them as signs of vaccine effectiveness. “You have to wonder … who do these people work for? The public or pharma?” said Mary.
  • The latest Vaccine Adverse Event Reporting System (VAERS) data shows over 5,000 reports of adverse events and 45 deaths after the new COVID-19 booster.
  • Hitting the gym after getting a COVID-19 vaccine may not be on most people’s to-do list, but the media is pushing new research that shows regular physical activity may boost the vaccine’s effectiveness. “Yet they never answer the question if the antibodies actually protect you,” said Mary
  • Nutritionists now pushing four types of drinks to avoid blood clots and hardening of arteries.
  • If someone you know was diagnosed with epilepsy or new-onset seizures in the past few years with no obvious source (head trauma, neurosurgery, radiation, meningitis, etc.), ask if they took one of the COVID-19 vaccines. There may be a link between COVID-19 vaccines and first-time seizures. “This is a really interesting article,” said Polly.
  • People of all ages — not just young males — are at higher risk of death from heart inflammation after COVID-19 vaccination compared with the typical occurrence of myocarditis death, according to a new study published on the medRxiv preprint server. “It is all of us at risk here,” said Polly.
  • A “tripledemic” could soon be coming to the U.S. featuring COVID-19, respiratory syncytial virus (RSV) and the flu. “This is the fear porn,” said Mary.
  • Sen. Rand Paul (R-Ky.) demanded the CDC turn over documents related to the agency’s contract with a New York-based public relations firm that also represented Pfizer and Moderna. “This is the most important article of the week,” said Mary.
  • With each passing day, it seems that journalism is becoming less of a profession and more of a war zone. Indeed the difference between journalism and “information warfare” is becoming increasingly difficult to pinpoint. “Big tech is connected to U.S. intelligence services,” said Mary.
  • So many ex-government workers are now employed by Facebook that it’s difficult to view Meta as a private company instead of a government partner, intent on silencing anyone who speaks out against the official narrative.
  • China has started rolling out an inhalable COVID-19 vaccine. “This completely eradicates informed consent,” said Mary.
  • Boston University denied its research qualifies as gain-of-function as the Alpha strain’s lethality was reduced from 100% to 80% — but the Alpha strain did gain function, namely immune escape, which it didn’t have before. “This is insane,” said Mary.
  • The Maine Board of Licensure in Medicine on Oct. 25 resumed its hearing on the suspension of Dr. Meryl Nass, who compared the hearings to a “kangaroo court” and hinted that she may pursue legal action against the board’s members. “This is showing the world what a kangaroo medical court looks like,” said Mary.
  • A voter analytics firm harvested data from millions of Americans’ cellphones during the 2020 COVID-19 lockdowns and used the data to assign phone users a “COVID-19 decree violation” score and a “COVID-19 concern” score, according to a whitepaper released by PredictWise, the firm that harvested the data. “A very powerful and terrifying article,” said Polly.
  • The Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics accepted millions of dollars from food, pharmaceutical and agribusiness companies, had policies to provide favors in return and invested in ultra-processed food company stocks, according to a study published in Public Health Nutrition.
  • Nationwide amoxicillin shortages are expected to hit local pharmacies in the U.S.
  • India’s Agricultural Ministry said “the use of glyphosate is prohibited and no person, except Pest Control Operators, shall use glyphosate,” and gave agrichemical companies three months to return certificates of registration for any glyphosate-based product. “People in America have no idea how dangerous this is to their health,” said Mary.
  • Calling it “arbitrary and capricious,” the New York State Supreme Court struck down New York City’s COVID-19 vaccine mandate for public workers, ruling in favor of 16 unvaccinated city workers who had sued following their termination.
