This week, Mary Holland, Children’s Health Defense (CHD) president, and Polly Tommey, CHD.TV programming manager, covered the latest headlines on COVID-19, Big Pharma and other issues, including news that fears of a wider health and environmental disaster are growing, after a 150-car freight train operated by Norfolk Southern derailed on Feb. 3 and a controlled burn several days later released toxic chemicals in East Palestine, Ohio.

Polly and Mary also discussed the increase of serious health and environmental impacts from the derailment, raising concerns for local residents despite assurances from regulatory agencies that the area is safe.

The residents of East Palestine gathered to demand answers on the potential health impacts of a massive train derailment and chemical spill that put their small village in the national spotlight.

Plus, over the past 18 months, skeptics of mRNA COVID-19 vaccines and those pointing out high rates of serious adverse reactions have been subject to ostracism, de-platforming and flawed “fact checks” to shut down opinions and analysis that conflicted with official narratives.

Also on tap this week: In his mid-40s, Adam Rowland was the fittest he’d ever been, with a promising career working with top professional athletes — until two doses of the AstraZeneca COVID-19 vaccine turned his life into “a living hell.”

More of this week’s highlights:

  • A 28-year-old man in Singapore who died of myocarditis or inflammation of the heart three weeks after receiving the Moderna Spikevax COVID-19 vaccine, formally recognized as the official cause of death, was otherwise healthy and had worked the day after the jab. “Men under 30 are at high risk for heart issues following the vaccine,” said Mary.
  • CHD filed a federal lawsuit against the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) to obtain documents related to the agency’s safety monitoring of COVID-19 vaccines through the Vaccine Adverse Event Reporting System (VAERS) database. “We have asked for all of the ratio data and emails from contractors regarding their investigations,” said Mary. “The truth is coming out and it is very ugly.”
  • Advocate for your right to choose or forgo COVID-19 vaccinations for school attendance and protect your rights for informed consent. Ask your legislators to ban COVID-19 vaccine mandates for daycare and students as 21 states have already done. “There is an opportunity here to tell other states not to do it,” said Mary.
  • Pfizer has enlisted yet another celebrity to push its flagging COVID-19 vaccine franchise. After targeting seniors with Martha Stewart, Big Pharma has swung to the opposite end of the age spectrum with an ad featuring a singer — Charlie Puth, a 31-year-old with 21 million TikTok followers — who first made his name on YouTube.
  • Florida Surgeon General Joseph Ladapo, M.D., Ph.D., last week issued a health alert warning that the COVID-19 mRNA vaccines caused a “substantial increase” in reports of adverse events in Florida. “Kudos to Dr. Ladapo,” said Mary.
  • Immunity acquired from past COVID-19 infection provides strong, lasting protection against severe outcomes from the illness at a level “as high if not higher” than that provided by mRNA vaccines, according to a study published in The Lancet. “This article found that natural immunity is 89% effective 10 months after infection,” said Mary.
  • Moderna reversed its course and promised that people won’t have to pay for COVID-19 vaccines once the U.S. government stops buying doses. “This just looks like PR,” said Mary.
  • Unvaccinated teachers, still out of work, filed a new lawsuit against New York City claiming the state constitution was violated on the basis of freedom of religion rights.
  • Unvaccinated NYC teachers were reportedly “flagged” with “problem codes” and their fingerprints sent to the FBI, according to an affidavit filed Feb. 8 in federal court.
  • Billionaire Elon Musk and World Economic Forum (WEF) Chairman Klaus Schwab faced off, presenting competing visions for the future at this year’s World Government Summit — a WEF-like meeting dedicated to shaping the future of government worldwide. “Their vision of the future is extremely dystopian,” said Mary.
  • As part of the World Government Summit in Dubai, conference organizers presented the “Government in 2071” initiative — a roadmap for government interactions with “citizens and stakeholders” in a dramatically shifting dystopian future impacted by automation, robotics and climate change.
  • The Biden administration is preparing to negotiate a deal to give the World Health Organization (WHO) authority over U.S. pandemic policies.
  • Central bank digital currencies, or CBDCs, are government-backed digital currencies issued by a central bank. They’re being rapidly rolled out to bring about a new economic transaction system that could lead to a new form of modern-day slavery.
  • The Marburg virus killed nine people in Equatorial Guinea after a fresh outbreak left hundreds infected. “Sounds like the rollout for Marburg virus pandemic,” said Mary.
  • STOP OXFORD: No 15 Minute Cities.” “Enjoy this video of this feisty 12-year-old,” said Polly. “Hopefully this encourages others to speak up.”
