Zoey O’Toole
Publisher Liaison for Children's Health Defense
Zoey stopped vaccinating her daughter in 2000. She went through the painful process of obtaining an NYC religious exemption. When her son was having difficulty learning to talk, she met moms who were healing their kids who had apraxia. She followed their advice, and her son put his first sentence together within the week. As a direct result of her research, she discovered that her daughter was suffering from PANDAS (Pediatric Autoimmune Neuropsychiatric Disorders Associated with Streptococcal Infections).
Grateful for the help she’d received, Zoey was eager to pay it forward. She teamed up with a group of 22 other moms and one dad to found the Thinking Moms’ Revolution, where she found a home writing and editing pieces on vaccines, homeopathy, nutrition and science. She later collaborated with Andre Angelantoni on scripts for a series of 15 videos on vaccine science for the website VaccineCourse.org. Unfortunately, the website’s launch was severely delayed by COVID-19, but the material was presented in an IPAK class in 2021.
Zoey edited the book “Turtles All the Way: Vaccine Science and Myth” with Mary Holland and began working at CHD as the publisher liaison in August of 2022.
