Children's Health Defense Chapter Liaison

Melissa has been involved in advocacy and grassroots activism since 2016 and is a former officer of New York Alliance for Vaccine Rights and Children’s Health Defense, NY Chapter. Melissa was actively involved in lobbying the New York Legislature in 2019 during the fight against the repeal of the Religious Exemption to vaccine mandates. As co-officer of New York Alliance for Vaccine Rights, Melissa helped to organize and manage over 65 senate district groups throughout the state of New York and worked closely and collaborated with advocates, attorneys and activists within the Medical Freedom Movement. In 2020, Melissa was active in campaigning for various NY Assembly and State Senate candidates who supported Medical Freedom. Melissa is now the Chapter Liaison for Children’s Health Defense and plays an active role in helping to develop and support the CHD chapters.
