Risa Evans, Esq.

Risa Evans is a staff attorney at Children's Health Defense. She leads CHD’s Freedom of Information Act or FOIA efforts and works on other legal issues. She began her legal career as a public defender. After her daughter was born, she left law and spent a decade homesteading and homeschooling. She then worked as a law professor, teaching legal writing and lawyering skills. She joined CHD as a legal fellow in 2022 and is now a staff attorney.
