Karl Grossman
Karl Grossman has specialized in investigative reporting especially on environmental issues for nearly 50 years. He teaches as well as practices journalism as a full professor of journalism at the State University of New York/College at Old Westbury where his courses every semester include both Investigative Reporting and Environmental Journalism. He has taught at SUNY/Old Westbury for 43 years. For 30 years he has hosted the nationally-aired TV program “Enviro Close-Up with Karl Grossman.” Books he has authored include Cover Up: What You Are Not Supposed to Know About Nuclear Power; The Wrong Stuff: The Space Program’s Nuclear Threat to Our Planet; The Poison Conspiracy; and Power Crazy. He has received many honors for his journalism including the George Polk Award.
