Your Will or Trust
Naming CHD in your will or trust is simple. Please describe CHD as “Children’s Health Defense, a California non-profit public benefit corporation.” If you are comfortable sharing your will with us, we can confirm you have the right description of CHD (and we can add you to a list of our supporters who are making bequests to CHD and will receive special information and communications from us).
It may be appropriate to ask an estate planning attorney to help you with a will (many people save money by establishing a living trust). If you have significant estate assets, there are charitable trusts that can help you save taxes and give more to charity. A good estate planner can describe these options for you.
Please note that it would present a conflict of interest for someone from CHD to be an executor or trustee of your estate. A good estate planner can help you pick a trusted individual or institution to serve as your executor or trustee. If you would like more information, we can connect you with our attorney.
Bank Transfer
Please complete our contact form or call us 201-687-9714 for bank transfer information.
Your donation will be used to further CHD’s mission of ending childhood health epidemics by eliminating toxic exposure, and restoring and protecting the health of children by eliminating environmental exposures, holding responsible parties accountable, and establishing safeguards to prevent future harm of children’s health.
Thank you for your support of CHD!
