This month’s exclusive CHD UpClose will examine the issue with a distinguished panel of experts. Join us as CHD’s Chief Scientific Officer, Brian Hooker, Ph.D., Christopher Shaw, Ph.D., Neuroscientist, Professor, Department of Ophthalmology and Visual Sciences, Faculty of Medicine, University of British Columbia, and James Neuenschwander, M.D. (“Dr. Neu”), dually board certified in Emergency and Integrative Medicine and president of the medical board for the Medical Academy of Pediatric Special Needs, unpack the issue and take your questions.

Each of our panelists has written multiple publications on the subject and has continued to question vaccine ingredients, including aluminum-based adjuvants. Their courageous voices and rigorous inquiry demand continued and expanded research into how environmental exposures, including metals, may affect neurological development in children.

Join us as they discuss:

  • Aluminum and its potential neurological effects.
  • Environmental exposures, including aluminum, and how it could contribute to autism.
  • Legal actions and advocacy efforts against agencies and medical organizations that have misrepresented vaccine safety or suppressed evidence of harm.
  • Vaccine mandates and the promotion of medical freedom and parental choice.
  • The fact that vaccines are not tested or regulated as rigorously as they should be and calls for more safety studies.

Don’t miss this opportunity to listen in as this panel of expert scientists and medical professionals provide an overview of the real science behind the headlines and media representations.

As always, there will be time for audience Q&A so bring your questions!

We hope you’ll join us on Tuesday, July 28th.

Meet the Speakers

Christopher Shaw, Ph.D.

Christopher Shaw, Ph.D. is a neuroscientist and professor of ophthalmology at the University of British Columbia. He spent eight years at Dalhousie University (Psychology), first as a post-doctoral fellow and then as a research associate, before beginning his affiliation with the University of British Columbia in 1988. His research focuses on Lou Gehrig’s disease (ALS) using several models of the disease to explore the possible environmental or genetic triggers of the disease, the various stages in disease development, and emerging treatment options. A second main theme, related to the first, is to examine the role of aluminum in various neurological diseases, including autism spectrum disorder.

He is the author of over 160 peer-reviewed articles, numerous book chapters and edited books, and has authored two books on neurological diseases, as well as “Dispatches from the Vaccine Wars” and the co-author of “Down the COVID-19 Rabbit Hole.”

James Neuenschwander

James Neuenschwander, M.D.

James R. Neuenschwander, M.D. (aka “Dr. Neu”) is a graduate of the University of Michigan with a retired board certification in Emergency Medicine and a current board certification in Integrative and Holistic Medicine. He has been practicing root cause medicine since the inception of his integrative practice in 1988.

Since 2005, he has incorporated children with neurodevelopmental delays into his practice and has been a tireless advocate for improving the treatment of these children, understanding the underlying biochemistry of their disorders, and working toward preventing these disorders in the future. He is the president of the Medical Academy of Pediatrics and Special Needs, and lectures frequently on the biochemical basis of autism and chronic health conditions.

Brian Hooker, Ph.D.

Brian Hooker, Ph.D.

Brian Hooker, Ph.D., is Chief Scientific Officer at Children’s Health Defense and professor emeritus and former Frances P. Owen Distinguished Professor of Biology at Simpson University in Redding, California, where he specialized in microbiology and biotechnology.

Dr. Hooker has been active in vaccine safety since 2001 and has a 27-year-old son with autism. In 2013 and 2014, Dr. Hooker worked with the CDC whistleblower, Dr. William Thompson, to expose fraud and corruption within vaccine safety research in the CDC, which led to the release of over 10,000 pages of documents. He is co-author of the New York Times Bestseller “Vax-Unvax: Let the Science Speak” with Robert F. Kennedy Jr.
