Genomics Integration Project

CHD scientists join Ulrike Kaemmerer. MD, and Kevin Mc Kernan, Ph.D., in an exciting project investigating the integration of the spike protein code from the COVID-19 vaccine into the human genome.

In this project, Dr. Ulrike Kaemmerer transfected ovarian and breast cancer cell lines with various modified mRNA COVID-19 vaccines. Rigorous testing is being conducted to investigate the integration of the spike protein into human genomic DNA

As the CHD science team continues to work with Dr. Kaemmerer and Kevin Mc Kernan, Ph.D., in this ongoing project, more studies are being completed to fully comprehend the magnitude of DNA and RNA integration into the human genome.
