This week, we are delighted to name Mary Holland, president of Children’s Health Defense (CHD), as our Hero of the Week.

Embodying the mission of CHD, Holland is committed to putting an end to the epidemic of chronic childhood diseases. She tirelessly works toward holding those responsible accountable and implementing safeguards to stop and prevent unnecessary and heartbreaking harm.

For over 20 years, Holland has been actively involved in the health freedom movement, advocating for religious, medical and philosophical exemptions to vaccine mandates in various state legislatures across the U.S.

Educated at Harvard and Columbia, Holland also has worked in international public and private law.

As head of CHD, Holland leads an effort that finances and fields over 50 lawsuits. This is an army that fights for us in the courts as well as publishing articles and books that make our case and win in the court of popular opinion. As she points out, we must do both.

Holland’s expertise is evident through her co-authorship of two books on vaccines: “Vaccine Epidemic: How Corporate Greed, Biased Science, and Coercive Government Threaten Our Human Rights, Our Health, and Our Children” and “The HPV Vaccine on Trial: Seeking Justice for a Generation Betrayed.”

Additionally, she co-edited “Turtles All The Way Down: Vaccine Science and Myth” and has written numerous articles on vaccine law and policy.

Holland’s dedication extends beyond harmful pharmaceuticals, as she fearlessly campaigns against environmental exposures and their potential dangers to children.

Notably, she served on the board of the World Mercury Project, which later transformed into CHD.

More recently, Holland deserves our gratitude for her exceptional efforts in creating awareness about the risks linked to fluoride and water fluoridation.

Cutting water fluoridation from municipal budgets would save precious tax dollars, as well as prevent significant harm, especially to children. Be sure to check out “Fluoride on Trial: The Censored Science on Fluoride and Your Health” and “Exposing Fluoride with Attorney Michael Connett” — and pass them on!

Holland is widely respected across the freedom movement and noted for her demonstrated ability to collaborate with people across many cultures and areas of expertise.

Holland’s life and work serve as a testament to her unwavering commitment to protecting the well-being of children and ensuring a safer future for all.
