This week, Mary Holland, Children’s Health Defense (CHD) president on leave, and Polly Tommey, CHD.TV programming manager, covered the latest headlines on COVID-19, Big Pharma and other issues, including CHD chairman on leave Robert F. Kennedy Jr.’s testimony in front of the House Select Subcommittee on the Weaponization of the Federal Government.

At the hearing, Kennedy and other witnesses spoke about government censorship and alleged violations of the First Amendment.

Polly and Mary also discussed the Biden administration’s suspension of U.S. funding to the Wuhan Institute of Virology. In leaked media correspondence, Dr. Anthony Fauci admitted to gain-of-function research funded by the National Institutes of Health (NIH) and colluding with the “Proximal Origin” authors to push the “natural” COVID-19 origins theory.

In his upcoming book, “The Wuhan Cover-Up: How US Health Officials Conspired with the Chinese Military to Hide the Origins of COVID-19,” Kennedy does a “deep dive on the whole history of bioweapons in the United States,” according to Mary. The book is currently available for preorder!

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) released a report showing that 1 in 10 children were diagnosed with a developmental disability in 2021. Although the CDC report lacked potential causes for the uptick, experts suggested a correlation to pandemic lockdown measures.

Also on tap this week: The U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) approved the first respiratory syncytial virus (RSV) vaccine for all infants. Sold under the brand name Beyfortus, the lab-made antibody can be administered to children under 2 — including preterm babies — to protect them against RSV.

More of this week’s highlights:

  • A New York State Supreme Court judge denied a motion to dismiss a lawsuit brought by fired New York City Department of Education workers who were denied religious exemptions from the COVID-19 vaccine mandate. “This is very exciting,” Mary exclaimed, explaining the details of the case to viewers.
  • Polly said “Well done, everyone” in response to news that the District of Columbia ended its planned fall 2023 COVID-19 vaccine mandate for schoolchildren.
  • In Rhode Island, a physician’s request for post-COVID-19 vaccine data was denied, along with his legal appeal. “It’s like reading a novel. A terrible novel,” said Polly.
  • The Biden administration announced a program providing free COVID-19 vaccines to uninsured Americans through the end of 2024. Pfizer, Moderna and Novavax have supplied these injections to the U.S. government and will begin selling them directly to healthcare providers in the fall.
  • Was the FDA aware of unexplained deaths and fetal abnormalities reported in clinical trial documents for Spikevax, Moderna’s COVID-19 vaccine?
  • The Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment announced the state’s effort starting July 18 to notify parents of their children’s overdue immunizations through routine vaccine reminder emails and texts. The reminders are for certain vaccines on the childhood and adolescent vaccination schedule, including the COVID-19 shots.
  • Reader’s Digest reported on boosting kids’ immune systems through nutrition, sleep, and natural immunity in order to resist infection. According to the article, vaccination is an important part of children’s health; however, scientific evidence suggests otherwise.
  • Some media outlets warned of the impact of measles and potential outbreaks, but are they exaggerating the risk? Mary stated, “They’re really worried that, during COVID, kids did not get routine immunization.”
  • In a new licensing deal with GSK, Swiss vaccine company LimmaTech Biologics will continue developing a vaccine for shigellosis, an infection caused by Shigella bacteria. “It’s absurd,” commented Mary.
  • Electromagnetic radiation poses significant risks for the entire population, and children are most at risk of developing heart and brain damage from exposure. While mainstream media sources downplay or ignore the dangers of this technology, others spoke out on the dangers of cellphone radiation.
  • Almost half — 45% — of U.S. tap water is contaminated with toxic chemicals. These environmental toxins have been associated with cancer, fertility issues, obesity and other health problems.
  • A recent op-ed called for a human papillomavirus (HPV) vaccine mandate for adolescents. Sol Ajalat, the first U.S. attorney to sue Merck over its Gardasil HPV vaccine, worked to uncover the underreporting of HPV vaccine injuries and the overreporting of its efficacy. “HPV is just pure money for Merck,” Mary cautioned.
  • CHD.TV announced big news for the medical freedom movement about The People’s Study going on tour!
