On the premier episode of “Doctors and Scientists” on CHD Live!, host Brian Hooker, Ph.D., P.E., interviews Dr. Peter McCullough about the U.S. government’s response to the current public health crisis.
McCullough, one of the premier physicians focused on the early treatment of the COVID-19, has published 46 peer-reviewed papers on COVID.
“Dr. McCullough is a hero of mine,” said Hooker, Children’s Health Defense chief scientific officer and professor of biology at Simpson University.
The two discussed various treatment options, including ivermectin and hydroxychloroquine, both of which are increasingly difficult to get prescriptions for, even though, according to McCullough, doctors are free to prescribe them and pharmacies don’t have the right to refuse to fill a patient’s prescription.
In response to Hooker’s question about why people who seek these prescriptions are maligned, McCullough said, “Fear plays a major role in influencing mass psychology.”
McCullough reminded viewers that the National Institutes of Health, Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and U.S. Food and Drug Administration are government public service agencies that serve doctors and patients.
“These agencies don’t treat patients,” McCullough said. “They are supposed to serve us … not make treatment recommendations.”
McCullough recommended viewers check out these four organizations for information on COVID treatments: the Association of American Physicians and Surgeons, America’s Frontline Doctors, Front Line Critical Care Consortium and Truth for Health Foundation.
“These are the trustworthy sources for what drugs work, and how to use them,” McCullough said.
