Scientific Research/Administrative Assistant

General Information:

  • Job Type: Full-time.
  • Salary dependent on experience and qualifications.
  • Remote working environment, but prefer West Coast-based.
  • Benefits include insurance and paid leave.

This scientific research/administrative assistant position provides key support for the chief science officer of Children’s Health Defense including processing, answering and preparing correspondence, data organization and management. Additionally, the scientific research/administrative assistant will coordinate projects that may include research and reporting.

Summary of Responsibilities:

  • General administrative support includes (but not limited to) email, editorial support, calendar organization.
  • Elementary data management/organization.
  • Planning and organizing projects and their resources.

Summary of Skills & Requirements:

  • Scientific background (required).
  • 2-6 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Experience in health freedom movement (preferred).
  • Meticulously detail-oriented with the ability to proactively identify, communicate and address challenges.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills and graphics knowledge a plus.
  • Firm grasp and demonstrated use of Microsoft Office with an emphasis on Excel-based data management.
