Coming May 9: Science Unleashed 2026. Join in to Hear the Latest Science on Chronic Disease

Join Children’s Health Defense in person in Chandler, Arizona, or virtually on May 9 to hear directly from top researchers as they connect the dots between environmental exposures, medical practices and rising rates of chronic illness. Don’t miss this fast-paced morning of eye-opening presentations focused on protecting children’s health.

The Arizona Chapter of Children’s Health Defense (CHD) invites you to “Science Unleashed,” hosted by Brian Hooker, Ph.D., CHD’s chief scientific officer. It’s a powerful, one-day event you won’t want to miss.

Hear directly from leading scientists working to protect children’s health and uncover the truth behind today’s chronic disease crisis.

Learn from leading experts

Join us for a dynamic, eye-opening morning that connects the dots between science, policy and your child’s health.

You’ll hear directly from experts who are asking hard questions, challenging assumptions and sharing research you won’t hear anywhere else:

  • Hooker and CHD’s senior research scientist, Karl Jablonowski, Ph.D., will open the event with an inside look at what CHD’s Science Team is actively researching, publishing and fighting for right now — and why it matters for families today.
  • William Parker, Ph.D., a former Duke immunologist, will walk you through his groundbreaking work on the human microbiome and explain how common exposures like acetaminophen may impact neurodevelopment in vulnerable children.
  • Christopher A. Shaw, Ph.D., a neurologist and professor, will examine the evidence behind the chronic disease epidemic — laying out what the research shows and asking why meaningful action hasn’t followed.
  • Clayton J. Baker, M.D., a board-certified internist and author of “The Medical Masquerade: A Physician Exposes the Deceptions of Covid,” will dive into the science, ethics and real-world implications of geoengineering.
