Four candidates for the California gubernatorial race, including Republicans Chad Bianco and Steve Hilton (who are among the leading candidates according to numerous recent polls), will appear at a virtual town hall on Monday, April 20, from 3-5 p.m. PDT.

The town hall, organized by the grassroots volunteers who supported U.S. Health Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr., in his 2024 bid for president, will allow candidates to respond to questions on their aptitude to Make California Healthy Again. This is the only 100% health-focused forum for the gubernatorial candidates.

WeThePeople.team selected four gubernatorial candidates who are believed to be the most aligned with the Make America Healthy Again (MAHA) movement. Steve Hilton, Chad Bianco, and Leo Zacky are running for the California governor’s seat as Republicans, and Lewis Herms as an Independent.

The team also invited a leading Democratic candidate to participate, but did not receive a response.

The candidates were invited to participate by the thousands-strong former Team Kennedy 2024 California grassroots volunteer group, now rebranded as WeThePeople.team, which is closely aligned with MAHA Action.

WeThePeople.team carries forward the torch for the principles of the Kennedy for President campaign, including a “people over party” mantra.

Volunteer Coordinator Laura Jones explained the goal of the town hall:

“Striving for a healthy California is not a partisan issue. We hope to hear a concrete vision from our candidates of how they intend to tackle the chronic disease epidemic inherent with our state.”

California has the highest rate of autism of any state in the country. And an estimated 4 in 10 adults, equating to millions of Californians, have at least one chronic illness.

Jones said:

“Following Robert F. Kennedy, Jr.’s endorsement of President Trump during the 2024 Presidential election contributing towards an overwhelming victory, we hope to similarly help to empower MAHA aligned Independents, Republicans, and Democrats alike to feel confident in voting for a gubernatorial candidate most committed and capable of transforming the health and wellbeing of the citizens of our Golden State.”

With the Democrats losing around 2 million votes during the 2024 presidential election when compared to 2020, this may be an indicator that it is opportune for a turning of the tide for our California leadership.

The Make California Healthy Again Town Hall will cover topics that include food as medicine, farming, medical freedom, COVID-19 lockdowns, and environmental toxicities impacting the health of Californians and their families.

WeThePeople.team invites supporters of the Trump/Kennedy MAHA agenda, former volunteers and supporters of Secretary Kennedy’s 2024 presidential campaign, and other medical freedom warriors to submit questions for the candidates by Monday, April 6, for consideration for inclusion in the town hall.

The town hall will simulcast on Pickax, “The Jeff Dornik Show” and on One America News Network’s social channels.

The livestream simulcast of this virtual event is made possible by Pickax, the social media platform that offers both freedom of speech and freedom of reach without algorithmic manipulation.

Interested parties may also RSVP via the website of WeThePeople.team.

WeThePeople.team is a group of former Team Kennedy for President 2024 California volunteers who are now working on the health, political integrity and prosperity of the “Golden State.”
