Hold Governor DeSantis to His Promise to End Vaccine Mandates!

On September 3, 2025, Governor Ron DeSantis pledged to the people of Florida that he would end vaccine mandates in the state. This historic promise resonated with people all around the country who have come to realize the threats to health that can come with government mandates, especially where vaccines are concerned. The time has come to urge the Governor and Florida legislators to uphold this pledge.

People should never be forced or coerced into undergoing any type of medical intervention that goes against their wishes. Additionally, vaccines are especially risky given their inadequate safety testing during clinical trials and the unknown cumulative and synergistic effects of a childhood schedule that now includes at least 72 vaccine doses from birth through age 18.

As our Surgeon General Joseph Ladapo commented following the governor’s announcement to end vaccine mandates, “Every last one of them is wrong and drips with disdain and slavery.”

While Dr. Ladapo has the authority to directly end some mandates through the Florida Department of Health, others will require legislative action. Pressure is being mounted against the effort to legislate an end to all mandates with false claims of public health and safety concerns. Given that pharmaceutical lobbyists constitute one of the largest and most influential lobbying groups in the country, the pressure on the Florida legislature to continue the vaccine status quo must be tremendous.

This makes it imperative that our state lawmakers hear from all of us regarding legislation to end vaccine mandates. We need to let legislators and Governor Santis know that personal freedom and the health of our children are of paramount importance. We’ll be watching closely to ensure the promise to end vaccine mandates becomes a reality.
