How to submit your article to Community News & Views

Do you have a personal story you’d like to share with the CHD community? An opinion on current events? A report on how you successfully defended health freedom in your community? We welcome your stories and viewpoints — we just ask that you follow our article submission guidelines.

We welcome articles that are:

1. Relevant to the CHD community. If you’re into racecars or modern dance, that’s great! But those topics aren’t related to CHD’s mission and work. Please only submit articles of interest to our community.
2. Concise and well-organized. If your article runs over 800 words, it’s probably too long. Please self-edit for clarity, brevity, and organization.
3. Accurate and well-sourced. If your article contains facts, please double-check them and provide links to credible sources.
4. Your own work. Please don’t plagiarize and please don’t send an article someone else wrote listing you as the author.

Please send your article as plain text in the body of the form below. Include your name, a brief bio and a headshot. Please also include contact information — we won’t share it, but we to be able to contact you if we have questions.

We read all submissions. However, due to the high volume of submissions and our small staff, we cannot respond to all of them. If we plan to publish your article we will contact you.

We reserve the right to make minor style edits. We will send you the final article for review before we publish it.

We do not pay for Community News & Views articles. All content on the Community and CHD website is licensed under Creative Commons CC BY-NC-ND 4.0. Under this license, we allow others to republish all content online or in print.
