Add HB2199 to Hawai’i House Health Committee Agenda by Feb. 19
February 13, 2026
While several concerning bills have been introduced in the current Hawai’i legislative session, HB2199, which protects the right of bodily autonomy in health care decisions, is one we all can support. But we must act now to ensure that the legislation is added to the state’s House Health Committee Agenda by February 19!
This bill is designed to protect everyone in our state – students and employees alike – from unwanted medical procedures and interventions.
Please take a few minutes to respectfully call and email Chair Gregg Takayama and the other committee members and urge that they move this crucial bill onto the Health Committee Agenda by February 19 to ensure that our voices will be heard.
