CHD Launches Military Chapter
All servicemembers and friends of the U.S. Armed Forces are encouraged to join us as we address, through education and advocacy efforts, the issues related to the U.S. Department of Defense COVID-19 countermeasures and mandates.
Children’s Health Defense (CHD) this month launched the CHD Military Chapter.
All servicemembers and friends of the U.S. Armed Forces are encouraged to join us as we address, through education and advocacy efforts, the issues related to the U.S. Department of Defense COVID-19 countermeasures and mandates.
“We know people in the U.S. military suffered egregious harms from unlawful and misguided vaccine mandate policies during COVID-19,” said CHD President Mary Holland. “Military members were harassed, intimidated and even committed suicide as a direct result of these policies.”
Holland added:
“People in the military, as in civilian life, have fundamental rights, and these rights were clearly violated.
“I am hopeful that the CHD Military Chapter will help service members in the future to align with one another to better protect their rights and health. We will also work with them to protect their children’s rights and health as children of military members have their own unique set of challenges.”
The CHD Military Chapter has adopted the motto: “Guardians of Warriors, Champions of Health,” to capture the organization’s commitment to extend CHD’s mission to safeguarding the health and constitutional rights of the brave men and women who have served our nation.
“The Children’s Health Defense Military Chapter is so desperately needed to bring America’s servicemembers and their families together,” said Doug Kissell, a retired U.S. Army colonel and CHD’s senior director of finance and operations.
“This effort will add tremendous value by educating and informing the military community about harmful exposures that are negatively affecting the readiness of our fighting force.”
Kissell added:
“I’m thankful CHD has taken the lead again to provide a way for the military members to collaborate with one another to provide a united community dedicated to shaping the health and welfare of our nation’s all-volunteer fighting force.”
Military members and their families are invited to join the chapter, volunteer and/or donate.
