Katy LeVasseur
Katy LeVasseur graduated from Lake Forest College in Illinois with a B.A. in biology. After having two children, Katy’s passions centered around natural health and researching ways to avoid toxins in everyday food and personal and home products. She went on to work administratively for different natural health practitioners and co-started a chapter of the non-profit Savvy Women’s Alliance in Colorado. Through Savvy, Katy contributed to multiple national campaigns pressuring retailers to remove toxic products and packaging from their shelves and inventory. She also joined local health freedom groups, got involved, stayed updated on the latest state and federal legislation, and attended local events. In 2022, Katy was hired as part of the first Children’s Health Defense Fellowship Class on the Advocacy Team. She has since become a permanent member of the CHD staff as Advocacy Liaison, helping to share CHD’s mission at events and providing tools for local grassroots efforts in the health freedom space.
