Karl Jablonowski, Ph.D., holds a master’s degree in computer science and a doctorate in biomedical and health informatics. He practices data science by asking questions of databases that can reveal population-based adverse outcomes of medical interventions. He has designed and worked with terabyte-sized databases (both biological and electronic medical record systems) and has published two book chapters and 13 peer-reviewed journal articles related to data mining and analysis for scientific investigation.
