Colin O’Neil

As Environmental Working Group’s Legislative Director, Colin focuses on a wide array of matters related to food and farm policy. He regularly meets with members of Congress and their staffs on agricultural policy issues including crop insurance, farm subsidies, conservation programs, food labeling, organic and sustainable farming and biofuels. Prior to joining EWG, Colin served as Director of Government Affairs at the Center for Food Safety. He has appeared or been quoted in a variety of media outlets, including NBC’s Meet the Press, Politico, the Today show, Huffington Post, the San Francisco Chronicle, The New York Times, Reuters and Fox News. Colin graduated magna cum laude from Beloit College in Wisconsin and is an avid outdoorsman.
