They found that vaccinated UHMG pigs had higher viral shedding titres and more severe clinical signs compared to HHGM pigs after virulent HRV challenge. In another study, they found that Lactobacillus partially prevented intestinal injury caused by HRV, ameliorating rotavirus diarrhea.
