Amanda Just, MS

Amanda Just, MS, is the Program Director of the International Academy of Oral Medicine and Toxicology (IAOMT).  In this role, she manages professional, public, regulatory, and scientific outreach efforts related to the biocompatibility of dental products, including the risks of mercury fillings. Additionally, Ms. Just is a freelance writer who has been researching the harmful impacts of toxic chemical exposures on public health for over a decade.  Her writings about the impact of dental mercury amalgam fillings have been shared with the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP), the U.S. Department of State, the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA), and various NGOs.  Ms. Just’s work has also appeared in an array of publications. Notably, she co-authored a chapter about the health risks of dental mercury that was recently published in a Springer textbook about epigenetics.  She holds a Master of Science in Education from the University of New Haven and a Bachelor of Arts in History from the College of William and Mary.
