This article is ridiculous and harmful. Western activists insist on forcing Africa to switch to unproductive organic farming techniques when the only way Africa has a prayer of surviving the climate change (that we caused!) is by using more science. Upgraded pest- and drought-resistant GM seed with enhanced nutritional profiles, targeted pesticides, and synthetic fertilizers are absolute necessities. This is what happens when lawyers and organic-industry-sponsored NGOs get into science topics that are over their heads. Gates promotes scientific solutions that work for farmers along with vaccination and upgraded infrastructures for clean water, electric power, and telecommunication. RFK Jr. and his clueless followers need to keep their noses out of Africa's issues.
